Vintage Benrus 1950's Three Star Tropical Patina Dial 17J Self-Winding Men's Watch

Collector-grade 1950s Benrus Three Star men’s self-winding (automatic) 17-jewel watch featuring a stunning tropical-style patina that has transformed the original cream dial into a deep, warm tone with tons of vintage character. The case and crystal show moderate, honest wear consistent with age, but the dial still presents beautifully and the lugs retain a sharp profile that wears great on the wrist. It’s fitted with a new old stock 1950s Flex-O-Band, which perfectly matches the era and really completes the look. Caseback markings noted: 342844 and Patent No. 2,302,340. The watch has been tested on a timegrapher and is running at approximately +50 seconds/day, ~230° amplitude, and 1.4 ms beat error—running and wearable.
