Vintage Elgin 1950's Textured Sector Dial Small Seconds 17J Manual Wind Men's Watch

Vintage 1950s Elgin men’s watch featuring a very distinctive sectioned/sector-style textured dial with a small seconds subdial that gives it a great mid-century look. The dial shows a classic vintage lume/radium-era patina and still presents with strong character, while the crystal has moderate-to-light wear from age. Please note: the case and bracelet show heavy signs of previous use, with visible wear consistent with decades of use. Mechanically, the watch is currently running but tests several minutes fast per day on a timegrapher, with approximately ~170° amplitude and a high beat error, which indicates the movement is not in optimal condition and would require service; continued accuracy and long-term function cannot be guaranteed due to the movement’s current state.
